The sensors detect the precise percentage of body weight placed on each limb, with normal dogs bearing about 30% on each front leg and 20% on each hind leg. Variations from these expected values can pinpoint orthopedic issues like arthritis, cruciate or elbow dysplasia, neuropathy, and more.
