Lauren Baker, CCRA

Rehabilitation Therapist

Lauren is a 2022 Stetson University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and a minor in studio art. Shortly after graduating, she joined the FVR team and has loved every minute of it! Before starting at FVR, she interned at the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet rehabilitating injured sea turtles, gopher tortoises, freshwater turtles, and other reptiles. Her interest in veterinary medicine can be traced back to high school where she participated in Veterinary Assisting courses as part of her curriculum. At the same time, she was an officer of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and competed in veterinary Career Development Events (CDE). Through the guidance of her mentors at FVR, she earned the title, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA) in May 2025.

At home, Lauren has a tabby cat named Toby who is equally cuddly as he is talkative. Though he is her only pet at the moment, she plans to love many more in the future. In her free time, she enjoys a combination of quiet indoor and fun outdoor activities like reading, digital drawing, video-gaming, fishing, paddleboarding, skateboarding, and skiing. She is so excited to be a part of your pet's rehab journey and looks forward to meeting you and your furry companions!
